The height of the fence is sometimes extended by 1 metre. Extender attachments are used for this. First, the standard temporary fencing is put in place and connected with Heras fence clips. The extender attachment is then placed in the 2-metre-high Heras temporary fencing tube. A plate halfway up the extender attachment provides an attachment point for another 1-metre-high temporary fence. The two fences are then connected using a Heras fence clip.
